People and farms around Lake Grässjön

For a number of years, the association has been working on creating a local history book ‘Folk och gårdar runt Grässjön’ (People and Farms around Lake Grässjön). In addition to the usual information about the people and farms, there are interesting articles about roads and road maintenance in the Gräsmark area, coach stations, old driving equipment, etc.

Ax-Pers Village Tales & Stories

In October 2024, the book ‘Ax-Pers Bygdeberättelser & Historier’ (Ax-Pers Local Tales & Stories) was released. It is a piece of Värmland and mainly Fryksdal history based on recorded hearsay and some transcripts. The entire book is taken from Axel Persson's handwritten notebooks from the 1950s and 60s.
