The rules below are an addition for seasonal guests and apply in addition to the general rules and regulations for Grässjöns Camping.

Camping season

The 2026 camping season runs from 11 May to 30 August.

The service building is open during the same period.

Seasonal rent must be paid within the specified time. If payment is not made in accordance with the terms of the agreement, this will be interpreted as termination of the plot and Hedås Bygdeförening may rent the plot to another guest.

Seasonal agreement

Once the seasonal agreement has been signed by both parties, the seasonal guest has full access to the site specified in the agreement.

The agreement expires without notice at the end of the agreement period.

At the end of the contract period or upon termination of the seasonal pitch, the camping guest is responsible for returning the signed keys.

Seasonal contract

Contracts are sent by post or email. A billing fee of SEK 65 will be added when agreements are sent by post.

Electricity consumption

We have a variable price for electricity consumption. The variable electricity charge is invoiced at the end of the season. Meter readings are taken by Hedås Bygdeförening.

When moving in

No caravan may be placed on the plot until the board of Hedås Bygdeförening has been contacted in good time. It is not permitted to sell/transfer caravans with plots.

Subletting

Seasonal pitches may only be used by registered tenants.

Subletting is prohibited and it is not permitted to register at the campsite.

Renting or lending seasonal pitches or caravans on site is prohibited.

Parking

A maximum of one car per camping pitch is permitted. If there is no space for your car on your rented camping pitch, please use the car park outside the site, next to the storage building on the other side of the gravel road. Under no circumstances may pitches other than your own be used for parking. Cars occupying other camping pitches will be charged a fee corresponding to the price of a camping pitch with electricity valid during the season per occasion.

Visitors' vehicles are referred to the car park outside the area, by the storage building on the other side of the gravel road.

General building regulations

Apart from traditional tents and cars, no other buildings or structures may be erected on the site. The principle is that everything must be definable as camping, i.e. temporary accommodation on wheels. Vehicles, caravans, etc. must be able to be moved at short notice. The following rules apply at Grässjöns Camping:

  • Awnings and spike tents (assembled in sections and easily removable) are permitted with a maximum width equal to that of the caravan.
  • Wooden decks may be built within your own camping area. Wooden decks, paving or similar outside your own camping pitch are not permitted.
  • No planting of flowers, trees or shrubs in the ground is permitted. Plants may only be planted in pots and must be placed within your own camping site.
  • A fire safety distance of 4 m between caravans must be maintained.
  • Caravans may not be raised to free up space underneath for storage.
  • Seasonal guests are responsible for all safety in the caravan and on the rented plot. This includes annual inspection of gas installations, smoke detectors and fire extinguishers. Gas testing certificates must be presented on request. Seasonal guests are required to have their vehicle insured. It is also desirable that it undergoes a roadworthiness test.
  • All maintenance of the plot, including mowing the lawn (where applicable) etc., is the responsibility of the camping guest. Caravans must be kept tidy and free of algae etc.
  • Waste disposal, bins for household waste and food waste are located at the storage building on the other side of the gravel road. Holders and bags for food waste are available from Hedås Bygdeförening, contact the campsite manager. Glass, tin cans, batteries, furniture, barbecues and similar waste must be taken to the municipal recycling centre yourself. Recycling centres are located in Uddheden, Sunne and Torsby.
Uddheden recycling station: Glass, paper/cardboard, tin cans
Sunne and Torsby recycling centres: Glass, paper/cardboard, tin cans, batteries, furniture, barbecues and similar items
  • Please be considerate; we want everyone to enjoy their stay with us. Therefore, we would like to remind you that between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m., quiet hours are in effect at the campsite.
  • It is not permitted to walk dogs or allow dogs to run loose at the campsite.

When moving out

When moving out, the plot must be left in a clean condition and approved by the board of Hedås Bygdeförening. If this has not been done, the campsite will carry out the work and invoice the seasonal guest at a rate of SEK 500 per hour or part thereof. Flooring etc. that remains after the season and for which no new agreement has been drawn up will be removed and taken to the rubbish tip at a charge of SEK 500 per hour.

Acceptance of rules and regulations

Upon payment of the seasonal fee, seasonal guests confirm that they have accepted the above rules and regulations and undertake to comply with them. Seasonal guests who do not comply with these rules risk immediate termination. Hedås Bygdeförening/Grässjöns camping disclaims all responsibility for theft and damage to seasonal guests and their property. We also reserve the right to immediately evict seasonal guests who do not comply with the above rules and the instructions issued by the board of Hedås Bygdeförening, at the seasonal guest's own expense and without deduction of rent paid. Seasonal guests are responsible for ensuring that their visitors comply with the rules, instructions and regulations that apply. The rules and regulations found on the website, www.visithedas.se, are always applicable. The rules and regulations may be updated, and as a seasonal guest, you are responsible for keeping yourself informed of any updates and complying with the rules and regulations. No refunds will be given for cancellations made after the seasonal fee has been paid.
